While our brokers collectively average
over 12 years of exclusively commercial real estate experience and 7
brokers have over 20 years of experience, we recognize that many commercial
real estate transactions are complex and require
teamwork and a combination of skills and services that a solo broker cannot
provide. Locally, we consult together, back each other
up, and combine our wealth of experience and talents to solve problems
for clients using a team approach. Nationally, we are members of The CORE
Network, a member-owned commercial real estate network
comprising experienced affiliates with offices in over 100 cities, which
allows us to provide even better service to multi-site
corporations headquartered in the Michiana area. The essence
of teamwork is "synergy of competence," which we use both locally
and nationally to maximize client value.
Wealth of Business Experience and Training
Our team is not only very experienced in
local commercial real estate, but is also highly educated and possesses
broad business experience. In terms of formal education, nearly all of our
real estate professionals not only have college degrees,
but we have advanced training in a diversity of fields applicable to real
estate - business, marketing, engineering, and law.
Several of our team members obtained degrees Cum Laude or Magna
Cum Laude, were Dean’s List students, won academic prizes such as Ford
Foundation fellowships, and served in prestigious
academic positions such as Managing Editor of the Notre Dame Law Review. In
addition, our team members have undertaken dozens of advanced
commercial real estate courses, involving rigorous
training in real estate investment analysis and income property brokerage, as
well as in-depth courses in commercial banking and real
estate lending.
Our team members also have impressive and
diverse non-real estate credentials. For example, prior to dedication
of their careers to commercial real estate, various team members served in
such positions as Executive Vice President of a major
NYSE-listed corporation, President of a Fortune 500 subsidiary, Division
Manager of a Fortune 500 firm, Executive Vice President – Commercial Lending
of a regional bank, Director of Technical Development of
a large integrated metals producer, Attorney at Law, and President of a
closely held business brokerage business. These experiences aid
in representation of corporate/professional clients
because we have all walked in corporate shoes and this experience helps us to
both understand and service our client’s needs.
